Is Your Spirit Thriving like Spring?

“So long as the human spirit thrives on this planet, music in some living form will accompany and sustain it and give it expressive meaning.”

~Aaron Copeland

Spring brings new growth, warm weather and a feeling of positivity and optimism. Baby birds, the scent of lilacs and honeysuckle, weddings, graduations, the promise of summer are heralds of the season. The music of life is bursting in symphonic splendor.

How are you letting yourself be moved by the rhythm of the season? Are you in the flow of growth and new opportunity or are you a little (or a lot) stuck, challenged to keep pace with the life you are living?

Whatever your experience, here are three tips for a thriving spirit:

1. Every day alive is a gift. List 5 things daily that you are grateful for. Celebrate your life’s unique gifts!

2. Unplug! Give yourself one half day (a full day is better) where you leave your phone, tablet, all electronics OFF.

3. Take time in Nature. Take a tree bath. A flower garden tub. Immerse yourself in what is natural and let yourself feel part of the earthy aliveness all around you.

Nurture your spirit. Thrive! Let the music of your life flow. You are the instrument, the hollow bone, the reed, the drum that Spirit, the Divine has placed here to sing the song and play the rhythm that only you can sing and play. I wish for you the fullness of your song.
